With this project, I wanted to start a dialogue that allowed the viewer to reflex on how our trash affects even the smallest living organism. So much of it ends up in the ocean and I hoped to make this issue front and center with my rendering of plankton which I composed of my own trash. It is made up of several plastic water bottles and paper trash as well as a can of hairspray.

 

I manipulated the items using Photoshop and am pleased with the outcome and overall success of this project.
